Top row: Jeramiah Lippold, Schuyler Allen, Damian Allen, and Ben Jafari. The Humboldt Area Jaycees Diamond Skills Competition was held on Sunday, April 22, 2001 at the Humboldt ballfields. Jackie Smith was the chairperson for this fun event. The winners of each age group were as follows: Ages 7-8: 1st place- Jeramiah Lippold; 2nd place- Brandon Roe; 3rd place- Tanner Lambert. Ages 9-10: 1st place- Schuyler Allen; 2nd place- Skiler Ramsey; 3rd place- Cody Dreier. Ages 11-12: 1st place- Damian Allen; 2nd place- Dustin Blecha; 3rd place- Jared Kirkendall. Ages 13-14: 1st place- Ben Jafari; 2nd place- Jamie Kirkendall; 3rd place- Tonya Roe. The Toys “R” Us Major League Baseball Diamond Skills competition provides youngsters with an opportunity to participate in an exciting baseball skills program.
