![]() Humboldt Area Jaycees Mud Volleyball Tournament ![]() Lots of mud and lots of volleyball as the photo shows from the Mud Volleyball Tournament. The double elimination tourney began at 9:00 a.m. and did not conclude until 4:30 p.m. The crowd in the background furnished the cheers for the various teams. The final results were not available at press time. ![]() Cleanup time-- The only problem with the cleanup horse tank was that the water became as muddy as the playing court, but who cares? ![]() It's hard to play in the Mud Volleyball Tournament without getting a little muddy as the pics above and below show. Everyone had a good time though. ![]() Humboldt Area Jaycees Kid's Games ![]() The three-legged race proved to be a bit much for these kids as most all took a tumble before they crossed the finish line as this picture shows. ![]() The water balloon toss sure was fun as shown in the photo above. It was a good way to cool off for some of the kids anyway. Try catching a water balloon without having it break. ![]() More fun from the Jaycees Kids Games with the potato sack race. Greased Pig Competition ![]() THE CHASE IS ON-- catching a greased pig is a bigger problem than it looks like. The little porkers are fast runners, are elusive, and they really squirm when picked up. The real fun is watching the contest between the child and piglets. ![]() More fun from the Greased Pig as these two young lads are desperately trying to keep a hold of the greased pig. ![]() That pig's going down as this young lad tosses him over his shoulder into the horse tank. ![]() Lucas Snethen and another unidentified young man are working together to get this greased pig in the tank.
