The Humboldt Area Jaycees Pitch, Hit and Run Competition was held on Sunday, April 14, 2002, at the Humboldt Ballfields. Only six area youths competed in the competition that tested their pitching, hitting and running skills. The winners of each age group were as follows: Ages 9-10: 1st place- Jeramiah Lippold; 2nd place- Aric Schnacker; 3rd place- Cody Dreier. Ages 11-12: 1st place- Dustin Blecha; 2nd place- Skiler Ramsey.
